 Wheat Crisis: There is a crisis in the whole world due to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine regarding wheat. Actually, due to this war the supply of wheat has been affected worldwide. There is a severe shortage of wheat in many countries. Amidst the wheat shortage and dispute, the African country of Egypt is making an agreement with India.

Under this agreement, he will import 500,000 tonnes of wheat from India into his country. In return, it will send other products including fertilizers to India. Indeed, Egypt is facing a wheat crisis. This is the reason why he is in talks about importing wheat from India. Meanwhile, there is a shortage of fertilizer in India, due to which we will also get fertilizer from this deal. 

Significantly, on May 13, India had banned the export of wheat. Truck trucks loaded with wheat were parked at the ports. However, India had given some relaxation in this restriction. Actually, this restriction was imposed with the aim of controlling the prices. 

At the same time, according to a Bloomberg report, Egypt's Minister of Supply Ali Al Moselhi told that it can enter into an agreement with India to exchange its products for wheat. For this, Moselhi also spoke to the Indian Ambassador in Cairo. Then this agreement of 5 lakh tonnes of wheat was discussed. Let us tell you that before this wheat was sent to Turkey, but it sent wheat back to India on the pretext of suspicion of rubella virus.
